Viecar VC300 OBD2 Diagnostic Tool ELM327 J1850 Automobile Engine Inspection

The Viecar VC300 code reader supports all OBD II protocols, including the newly released Controller Area Network (CAN) protocol.
Although small, it is capable of retrieving the same information as larger, more expensive scanners!

A small number of gasoline vehicles (1994 and 1995 models) are OBD II compliant. To verify if a 1994 or 1995 vehicle is OBD II compliant, check the Vehicle Emission Control Information (VECI) label found under the hood or next to the radiator on most vehicles.
That is, if the vehicle is OBD II compliant, the label will state “OBD II Certified”. Additionally, government regulations require that all OBD II compliant vehicles have a “universal” sixteen-pin Data Link Connector (DLC).

In order for your vehicle to be OBD II compliant, it must have a 16-pin DLC (Data Link Connector) under the dashboard and the vehicle’s Emission Control Information label must state that the vehicle is OBD II compliant.
